In this role you would be helping the UK Operations circle (Ops) to keep its online meetings on track. Ops' purpose is to deliver the XRUK Strategy for 2025-26.
About Ops:
- It is a large team - a typical meeting has up to 20 people or more.
- Its priorities are largely dictated directly by the XRUK strategy.
- Its accountabilities are mostly delegated to its sub-circles.
- It spends the majority of XRUK’s budget.
As Facilitator you would:
- Facilitate online meetings of this team.
- Invite other facilitators from inside or outside of the circle to facilitate a given meeting, if not doing so personally.
- Ensure that applicable processes for elections and decision-making (e.g. group agreements, constitutional rules, Ways of Working) are followed.
The Ops Facilitator role could be shared between two people; for example, one could facilitate the Monday meeting and one the Friday meeting. Training is available for this role but it would help to have some previous experience.
